NYC is the greatest city in the world, and yet our sport teams suck! The Mets, Knicks, Islanders... Even the Yanks are starting to lose it. So which team do you think represents NY the worst? Any sport, any level.

Well lets see. All time, the Jets. Still hanging on to the glory of 1969, and everytime it looks like they have a good team again, they find new and innovative ways to blow it.

The same of course can be said for the Mets, just replace 69 with 86. And I'm a met fan.

Currently it's gotta be the Knicks. But who the hell cares? More losses= More pingpong balls= Lebron James.

Now why is that every time someone says something about the yankees their fans come up with the 26 world championships... big fucking deal.. did you win this year no. that is all that matters...Most the yankees fans of today did not like them when they were "ok" damn near sucky in the 80's.. the yankees went from 1978 to 1996 without winning a worldseries which means if you are under 24 you have only seen them win 3 worldseries.. so enough with the 26 championships.. get over it... we live in the present and not the past..

Right now the Knicks are by far the biggest disgrace in NY. The NY Rangers are a close second. All this team does is spend and spend some more. They have not made the playoffs since 97. They suck balls!!!! Good riddance Pavel!!! Have a vodka on me!!!!

Considering all my favorite teams are NY teams. Giants, Yankees, Rangers, and Knicks. Going by playoff/word series/stanley cup/superbowl appearances/victories. I would have to say the worst team is the NY Jets. They haven't been in a Superbowl since 1969. Second,the Knicks have been in the final round of the playoffs in 2001, but their last playoff victory wasn't since 1973. The Islanders are third with not a Stanley Cup win or appearance since 1983. I'm pretty sure these dates are right..maybe plus or minus a year. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The worst team could only be the New York Knicks. You have to love the fact that they have a curse since they traded Patrick Ewing. Even though he sucked, it seems like Ewing is the Babe Ruth of Basketball. Who couldn't tell they would sign Antonio McDyess and would lose him for the entire season after 4 games.

psst.....This is why people say that NY sports fans are stupid. I'm also a Mets fan, but the yanks don't suck. They made the playoffs, which makes them better than 20 teams in the league. The Royals suck, the Devil Rays suck, and the Pirates suck.
