You've heard people say that before when it's really hot out, "it's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk", stuff like that,. Well, it actually works.
Over Thanksgiving we went to my aunt's lake house in New Hampshire. Well they have a wood burning stove that gets very hot and my uncle was trying to explain to the little kids to stay away from it.
He said 'it's hot enough to fry an egg on', so my cousin said, 'oh yeah, do it'. So we got an egg out and fried it right there on the wood stove. It smelled really good.
