What the hell is up with cell phones?

Why do they feel the need to pack every possible bit of technology into a cell phone? Now they have phones that take pictures, phones that play color games, phones with video, etc. Why?! Am I the only one who just uses a cell phone to call people? Isn't all this other stuff why they made pocket pc's, digital cameras, etc.?

my sister has one that also is a camera, playstation 2, microwave, handgun, television, blow up doll, bmw, radio, and a dvd player.

I dont get computers and cell phones, you can do everything on a cell phone you can do on a computer, OLY ITS MUCH SMALLER. Hell why not get something to hook your phone up to a monitor and you can have a portable computer.
