What Instrument Did You Play In Music Class?

In my grammar school, you had to choose an instrument to learn. Did anyone else have to? I started off in 3rd grade playing the bass drum because I was the biggest kid in class. In 4th I played the trombone.

We had a marching band in grammer school and when I joined i started in the Junior Band playing the bugle. When I was asked to moved up to the Senior Band in 5 th grade, I was moved up to the Trombone and did that for 3 more years.
