right by my house, they're building a new burger king next to an exisiting burger king. its fun to bring friends who haven't been in town for a few months to see the dual burger kings.

It's not the BK company itself, it's one of the franchisees who is going bankrupt.

Big difference - I'm sure a good amount of those stores will be swallowed into the BK Corporate entity and remain open.

Anybidy remember demolition man where Sandra Bullock says that the only fast food chain to survive the franchise wars was Taco Bell...it is starting to look that way more and more everyday...

McDonalds is next with those horrible burgers at the end of the value menus. (I know this is wishful thinking, just I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cant stand McDonalds)
