ok listen up, as resident comics nerd, this series just presents the fact that the original captain america was black because the army had no problem testing things on black soldiers. the reason this was done was because marvel's relaunch line or "Ultimate" marvel was at first suppose to have a black captain america but that idea was thrown to the wayside, in my logic they are just trying to make up for that.

Silence, all. Let me explain.
This is going to be part of the "real" Captain America universe, but will not drastically alter cracker-Cap. Honky-Cap will discover that before him, the super serum used to make him into Captain America was first tested on black 4-F's, like the Tuskegee experiments. Several of the test subjects were hurt or killed, but the last one was a full success, once they finally perfected the serum, natch. They then went on to create the "real" Cap, but used the black soldier as an undercover, covert ops soldier for the next few decades, until he was finally retired. Unlike the current Cap, he was never put into suspended animation, so he's aged, slowly, but still aged, and is much older than "our" Cap. Cap simply tracks him down to hear his story and give him his props. Personally, I've read the first couple of issues, and I've found them to be fantastic. True to the character of Cap, but with a fascinating and perfectly logical spin on his origin. I'd reccomend it to any Cap fan. You'll enjoy it.

Hell, they're making KingPin black in "Daredevil". Why not?

I actually think that's a bitchin' bit of creative casting. The man looks like he snap someone in two just by looking at them.

Yeah he fits size wise. And I'm not THAT big of a comic geek that I always bitch if they change something from a book for the film adaptation, but I just have a problem with all the casting in Daredevil. Jenifer Garner is NOT Electra!!

I personally believe that kingpin isnt a physical manifestation as it is a mindset and a lifestyle, so i really think no one should bug out that MCD is playing him, plus the only other way you couldve done it would have been with CGI effects, which would have been horrible. As far as Garner goes, im willing to give her a shot but i wouldve cast Catherine Zeta Jones of Penelope Cruz, Colin Farrel will be excellent as Bullseye, John Favreau as Foggy Nelson, also good casing. Now Affleck has me worried, but we'll see, if he turns this into forces of nature with fight scenes though im gonna hurt him.

Next thing you know, they'll be saying "Garfield" was Hispanic.
Next time it could be me on the scaffolding.

Back to Cap, here's an odd twist of fate: A few years ago, they had a story line where Steve Rogers was bascially fired from being Cap. They replaced him with someone one who had also taken the super serum, and he became the new cap. eventually everything got fixed, and the new Cap went on to be US Agent. The new guy's name, John Walker.

Don't forget Joey Pants as Ben Urich! I have no problem with Garner, since she's proven week after week on "Alias" that she can kick some ass and make it look easy. They'd have to whip out too much CGI to make wooden actresses like Cruz and Zeta-Jones seem like they'd fit in a comic book film.
Hell, at this point, I'm more excited about this than I was about "Spider-Man". And don't even get me started on "The Hulk". It's going to be a thing of beauty.

Quesada has no time for letters. He's a big time AC-TOR now.
But out of curiosity, what did you think of the series?
