All my teachers were assuring me that the snow would start after school started, but then again, there all puffing the magic dragon during periods. I sure that it will snow before 7:00, but if it doesnt, im screwed. Of course there are those gullable district people who will hold off school if they SAY that there is going to 1 foot of snow. So I'll see... tommarrow. "There's always tommarrow for dreams to come true"

Marrow from Osso Buso rocks!:)And this is from the weather bug 
THURSDAY Occasional snow...developing early in the morning. Accumulation 4 to 5 inches. Highs in the lower 30s. Light northeast winds increasing to around 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. THURSDAY NIGHT Occasional snow...ending in the evening...then remaining cloudy. Total accumulation...6 to 8 inches. Lows 20 to 25. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph becoming northwest 10 to 15 mph.

I give up on snow.

Im not talking about it until I see the expected 3-5 inches on the ground. Im sick of this snow talk, every year people talk about snow and every year i get NOTHING!

Yea, snow is great when you're in School.

But for THE REST OF CIVILIZATION IT SUCKS!

You gotta shovel it, it keeps you from making $$ at your job, and old people fall down in it.

But since I'm unemployed, LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Moe. I'm in my first
year of college and the
realization just hit me
yesterday. We're supposed
to get like 5 inches of snow
here in Boston, and I got
happy until I realized... we
all live on campus. No
one's gonna cancel school
anymore. No more sitting
by the window and doing
naked snow dances
around ice cubes... (or was
that just me?) Man, I miss
the potential excitement of
snow days. Now that snow
can't get me off school, it
has no use to me. Snow is
now just an inconvenience.
The only thing I'll ever miss
about grade/high school.

Whoever invented snow sucks.

It's cold, wet, annoying and keeps me from going anywhere.

as for me, i have school and work, so I'm border line with the snow. I dont want to go to class, but I need money. Looks like I have to drive in this powdery shit no matter what...

My work has snow days sometimes. they have a special number you call to see if there is a delay or cancellation.

Its coming down hard here, and if it keeps snowing, what i do is go to my manager and play the "scared woman driver" trick

"I'm really afraid of driving in the snow and I need to go home before it gets any worse"

It doesn't look like I can work. I don't think people will appreciate me putting flyers on their cars in a snowstorm, and I don't want to be out all day anyway.

I need the money. But i can't be mad. I love snow so much. I love watching my dog play in it. It's like the old mutt becomes a puppy again, and that's worth it to me :)

..my mom works where i do, so she makes me call her and i get a lecture of how i shouldn't drive in the snow, but tells me to come in anyway.

Fortunately, I can ride the bus today. When we had that heavy storm in 2000 and I was working in Ramsey, the jackass supervisor there knew how far I had to go to get home, but let all the people who lived close by leave while I had to stay. He kept me there till 5pm. I didn't get home until after 10pm. I told him that was the last straw and got on a different contract in the city.

Let someone else do the driving this time.
