Simpsons is funny, but South park has me laughing out loud (i wish there was a way to abbreviate that) more consistently. And if u have to watch a kids cartoon (as i did over thanksgiving with my nephew) i highly recommend sponge bob--I think i laughed more than my nephew).

The Simpsons and coming in a close second was TV Funhouse(you can count it as a cartoon.)

The Critic and Scooby Doo were great too.

I love South Park, the Simpsons and SpongeBob SquarePants. But, the cartoons I really miss and really wish were still on are Voltron (especially Voltron III - the one made up of five lions) and The Maxx (on MTV Oddities).

I like to give it the more distinguished name of "animated series", but "Batman: The Animated Series" (before it went to Kids WB and lost a step or two) is the greatest animated program ever created.

Shouldn't we seperate "adult" or "mature" cartoons from the ones meant for kids? For the former, it's obviously "The Simpsons".

For the latter, "Batman: The Animated Series" smokes all comers.

That was just a joke for that particular episode. Tivo or tape any episode and you'll see that it says nothing in particular. The only time it said that was the special in which it is mentioned.
