What do you think if you see a good looking girl out by herself, at dinner, or a bar or club? If she's good looking/has a nice body, would you talk to her? Would you wonder why she's there alone? Why do you think she's there alone?

I would think she has some kind of horrible mutation or grotesque disfigurement.

I would wonder where her BF was, but then I would remember that he is locked in my trunk...

I agree with Moe. Although I wish more truly single women would go out alone. Much easier to approach one by herself then a whole gaggle.

If she is hot and isn't waiting for a boyfriend, I don't see a problem in going up and talking to her at all. I like being alone alot, some people are just that way.

Why don't people come up to her? I mean, after an hour of sitting there alone, it should be obvious there's no boyfriend showing up.

It's a thing called independence. I used to worry about doing things by myself, but I have come to realize you have to depend on yourself to get things done and do things you want to do. If I see someone out by themselves, I think, "Good for them-- they don't care about the opinion of the masses." Either that or they have the clap and no one wants to hang out with them.

I just feel it is 2002. I eat out sometimes alone because of job requirements or just don't have time to fix a meal at home. To tell you the truth, I really don't care what people think. I always thought it was ridiculous for people to think that the person had no friends because they ate alone. I never thought having friends or not having them had anything to do with eating alone. It's all about convenience.

If I saw a hot girl sitting by herself I would think she's that much hotter. Confidence is sexy. It shows that she's not clingy and doesn't need someone around her all the time to feel cool.

I eat out alone but not that often. I don't mind it at all. It is about confidence. I would go to a bar and drink or eat by myself with no problem. I just don't usually get anyone to approach me because I have been told that I look really mean or "unapproachable"...whatever that means.

i eat alot by myself, so when i see someone i really don't even think about it. i probably think about it more when its me by myself, than when its someone else.

I've been giggling like a fucking asshole reading you all type "I Eat Out" over and over and over again.

It's so immature, but FUNNY!

And HELLZ YEA I do shit by myself. FUCK YOU if you think I'm some sort of loser. If you judge me for that, you'd have judged me for something else anyway.

I totally agree. That is why I stopped going out. I get too scared of new people and new situations it gets really neurotic at times. As much as I think I may have a shot with said girl, it always turns out that they are waiting for the man.
