Do you decorate for the holidays?

I used to decorate my apartment a lot more than I used to. Three cats kinda keeps me from putting up my little, 3-foot, fake tree. I put two fake wreaths in my window with two electric "candles." I'd put up white lights in my window but it's too much of a pain in the ass.

How do you decorate your abode?

I put up a small tree and hang all the Christmas cards I receive on the living room blinds. I also put lights on the tree in front of my house.

Now that I have a cat, can I still put up a real tree?

You can, but cats like to climb on them and knock the ornaments down (OH! and NO "icicles!"). You had a big tree last year, so you might be safe since Fuzzy is so little.

inside... fake trees are for

cats always knew! and my
dads santa collection gets
put out, hes got over 50
now and they dominate the
house. its so GREAT!

Last year, it was my first Christmas in my very own apartment. I didn't decorate anything because I just didn't think it would matter. Then, I realized how depressed I was so I swore I was going to decorate this year. So, I did!

I have a star made out of white lights on one wall and icicles hanging across the other. I have a tiny little Christmas tree with red bows. But, the best so far is me and my best friend had a 'drunken sleepover' last night and we decorated our stocking...

One has my name on it, one has his and, um, we also made one for Madonna. Yeah, we're corny like that...

Hopefully I will do my tree this weekend. The plans are one of those 3 foot fake trees and I want to spray paint it orange (don't ask) and put my Simpsons ornaments on it. Only then will Santa show up here. I hope the cats don't decide to use the tree as a play toy.
When I lived back in PA I had Christmas lights up year round. I had the KISS logo spelled out on my wall.

I felt so cheesy but in a good cheesy way today at work. My boss asked me to set up their little 2 foot tree. Then I decorated the waiting room with garland. We put on christmas music and the cheese factor multiplied by 50. :)

I decorate for all the holidays but mainly Halloween and Christmas. My dad is HUGE on decorating so I've been doing it for like 8 years. We always put up alot of lights and those big 15 feet tall blow up Santa Claus's and stuff.

It's fun, it gets me in the holiday spirit.
