I Need $50,000

I need to pay off my debt and have about 42K left over for a downpayment on a house.

If I save, I can have this money in about 7 yrs, but in about 7 yrs, 42K will not be enough for a downpayment on a decent house.

So, I need to know how I can make 50K by June of next year.

You probably don't need a full 42K for a down payment on a house. Depending on your credit and the amount of debt you have, you could be able to put around 10% down on the house, and get a decent rate on the mortgage (Right now the prime rate is pretty damn low).

There are drawbacks to putting less than 20% down on a property, such as PMI insurance, etc., but you should check with the credit reporting agencies and see if there is anything adverse on the report. If it looks good, get pre-approved at a mortgage company, and they will give you a ceiling for a mortgage. Then just shop for a place in that price range.

If that doesn't work, the stripping idea isn't too bad :)

I don't know how Alkey would feel about you striping but you diffenitly have the figure for it, and as it was suggested earlier even the bartenders in strip clubs do well. <P>
Here is another idea you may want to research. Your Dominican. Were you born here or over there, your also a woman and a single mother of two. In the eyes of the state that makes you something like a triple minority. There may be goverment grants or loans that you can apply for. I would check with social services. I know there is a bad stigma attached to using those services but they were set up to help people who are trying to provied for there famlies. Good luck. <P>
