I guess I just like a Strip Steak. NO bones.
I enjoy my steak Medium well. Cooked all the way through with crunchy outside and fat.
My favorite place to get meat like that cooked is The Town Tavern in West Milford
And I dislike Steak Sauce. I say, if your steak sucks, cover it in another flavor. Otherwise, just enjoy the beef.

1. Filet Mignon 2. Medium/Medium Well (Hot, light pink center) 3. Angelo & Maxies or Ruth's Chris - both in Midtown Manhattan 4. Generally nothing, but when covering up a less than great steak, Peter Luger's does the trick... <P>

Porterhouse or NY Strip
I prefer Rare, although I usually go for Medium Rare
I don't have a fave steakhouse, but there are a couple of good places here in Westfield
I only use steak sauce on cheap steak, but Smith & Wollensky's is pretty good and there's nothing wrong with Lee & Perrin's

1) NY Strip
2) Outback Steak House
3) Well done
4) A-1
hahaha I crack myself up!
1) Porterhouse (You get the
strip AND the filet. Why
would you order anything
else??)
2) Very rare. I mean why
have a good steak if you're
not going to bother tasting
the meat?
3) Old Homestead (I think
the potatoes and the
creamed spinach at the
Palm suck and that ruined
the steak for me perhaps)
BUT I haven't really been to
many steak houses. The
RingSide in POrtland, OR is
great, but doesn't have a
realy NYC steakhouse
atmosphere - but it does
have lots of hockey
memorabilia!!
4) A generous portion of
fresh cracked black pepper
is about it, thanks!
Uhm, and for those who
said that Peter Leuger's
(sic) is their favorite
steakhouse? Maybe you'd
better go back a few more
times and see how they like
to spell their name :)

This is my fault for mispelling their sauce in the opening post. Corrections have been made.
