I only meet "far-away girls"

I have an amazing knack. Get me into a crowd of people and somehow I can pick out the girl who lives farthest away. I can name 9 different occasions this has happened to me. I'll meet a girl, we'll hit it off splendidly only to find that she lives at least 2 hours away. Now i'll be the first to admit i have a fear of commitment but this is just uncanny.

My girlfriend and I lived 2 1/2 hours away for the entire first year of our relationship and about 8 hours away for three months after that and then right after that for about a month we were 20 hours apart.

Now we've lived in the same city for 2 years so I guess what I'm trying to say is if you want it to work out bad enough you can find a way.
