You know...when you meet someone you really like or click with, but circumstances or timing just isn't right or it is long distance?

That is the worst. Because if things were different, you could totally see yourself with that person. Sometimes life just isn't fair. It doesn't seem right to pass up a chance at a good thing, but sometimes it just doesn't work that way and we can't always get what feels right. ::sigh::

happens alot to me...
mainly as to why I rarely get involved...
emotions just cloud up every damn thought and get in the way of logic and reason...
specially sucks when you are starting to get atached
and you look foward to seeing this person or thoughts or this person just make you all giddy and retarded and what not
it's like timing is wrong... but feels so damn right.

It seems that I always allow myself to fall in love with these women until it reaches a point where eventually I learn that they're engaged,and then proceed to sulk about it for a year. I've been truly in love once in my life and it was altogether .. . well let's just say, I fell in love at the wrong time. But the time spent together WAS right. It was the best thing I ever felt. I don't regret it. .. but I kinda regret the timing of it. I don't believe that you can fall in love in a second, a day, or even a week. It's a longer process. And it happens only once or twice in your life.

yep, twice. the first time was in college. a friend of mine and i really liked each other, but i was seeing a friend of his. we kissed a few times, and i may have let him feel my boobies...then summer came and we didnt see each other, and that fall it was obvious we still liked each other, but timing was just wrong again. he ended up being killed in a car accident right before thanksgiving, and i'll always regret never just going for it with him

as to this whole distance, wish it would work, i'm missing out, bad timing thing...life sucks, buy a tissue.
i am of the, "things happen for a reason" camp, and the "welcome to reality" camp. both tell me that life happens, that there are things going on in this universe that are above and beyond me, and that no one is perfect anyway. no matter who you end up with, there are always problems and hassels, you gotta find the one who you DO click with, but even more so - spend time with, understand each others problems, and know how to communicate. everyone wishes for the dreamy, romantic, drama thing, and usually tries to find it in a person that they can't have (ie.: distance, timing reasons.) This happens mainly because all the way in the back of their heads they know it won't work out. it's the idea of wish it, want it, but can't have it, so i'll just leave the dream alive in someone else that i know it will not work out with.
i dunno, then again i can just be blowing monkeys out of my ass here...it kinda sounds confusing.

oh, and vegata, i tried that single mom thing...didn't work out.

My problem is that there are times when I am completely alone, not talking to anyone, not interested in anyone, not meeting anyone, but once I find the least bit of interest in someone, here comes the guys outta the woodwork.
Then it becomes confusing, cause I start to wonder which one of these would be better to talk to.. then I feel bad for talking to all of them... so I just single myself out again and stay alone.

This happens to me alot and it's usually with women in relationships. And I even see how it happens. You know these women are in relationships so all the silly initial pressures of trying to impress them aren't there. So it's quicker and easier to get comfortable with them. It usually ends badly though. People get jealous, feelings get hurt, and then you're told to never show your face in Sloatsburg again.
