The "welcome" the new person threads. I never post in them, but I notice that the ones started by chicks get about twelve times as many replies.

I never post in the b-day thread unless I know the person. As far as the new members go I like to make them feel comfortable, a little insult goes a long way.

Either one, I'm still a newbie, and I didn't do a welcome thread, and I was too new for a birthday thread. And if I had a welcome thread started by someone, I missed it completely.
