God it's so true! Bradly from Sublime was so right when he wrote that line. Music on the radio flat out SUCKS!

But there is that one song that you cant stand, and it just seems like K-rock, or z100 cant get enough of it. They loop that song in to play every half hour and it's driving you CRAZY!!!!

Come on, tell us a song that is played on the radio over and over and over, and you cant TAKE IT ANY MORE!!!

Dont be greedy, lets do this one song at a time. Make sure you post the song, who its by, and why you hate it so much!

I'll start:

I cant STAND that song, Bother by Stone Sour (Corey Taylor) Now Corey Taylor is the lead singer of Slipknot....and now he's putting out this crap??? GOD DAMN that pisses me off!!

Althought there is one song on the Stone Sour cd thats pretty good (get inside)....this Bother song KRock keeps playing drives me fucking NUTS!!!!!!!

(500th time) "Song is ok, but getting a bit old.

(5000th time) "If I turn on the radio one more time and hear this f******* song I F***** swear to God, I am going to F****** shoot someone!

I find that if you like a song, turn the radio off or else you'll grow to hate it. It really works. Like the new Foo Fighters song, I turn it off so i can enjoy it at my leisure.

although z100 krock and all the pop stations do repeat alot of songs. there are still a bunch of songs that are overplayed and are amazing- example that new nirvana song is incredible but i dont listen to music on the radio that much. i prefer my own cd collection over the radio.

Yes I am also sick of the same playlist every hour, but what bothers me more are the long ass bumpers these stations are playing.

I dont listen to radio i prefer my own preference but here is what ive been hearing way too much.

Avril Lavigne - any song - reason: shes ennoying.

Creed - if i hear one more god reference coming from that guys mouth i swear to god im shoving him off a cliff.

I could go on forever really, basically i hate everything new, yea, that oretty much sums it up.

You mean the song on radio. Either it actually is the same song played 50 times a day, or it's just such a similar song that it is identicle to another.

easy to beat on the radio... listen to k rock 1 day a week, just to see if there is any new songs. then pop a cd or tape in the deck.

this is why I listen to WFUV

same here, except its tough to get reception on my walkman. the only other time to listen to music on the radio is 'airwaves' on wrhu. its hofstra university's station, and they play great indie rock. the only problem is that it's on 9-11pm. i'm not missing my radio buddays for new music.

oh, for internet radio i listent to 'spinner'. its got nearly every genre covered.

AMEN, my brotha!! This is the biggest radio market in the world and they have to repeat the same songs over and over. AWFUL!!!

All I'll say is I remember the day when Staind rocked. Funny enough, it was before they were ever on radio and before they ever met Fred Durft!

This is where we differ in philosophy.

While not a good song, and while ridiculously overplayed, "Bother" is actually listenable.

As opposed to Slipknot, which makes me want to strangle grade-school children, for all the WRONG reasons.
