Real old school commercial, usually played in NY during the Magilla Gorilla Hour:
The RITZ Thrift Shop:
"Some women lunch at The Plaza, ski at St. Moritz and buy expensive furs every year. Others just look that way."
Also the old guy who sold the classical music record set.
"....but did you know that was the Polovetsian Dance Number 2 by Borodin."

The McDonalds jingle that went "Big Mac, Mc DLT, a quater pounder with some cheese, filet o'fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a happy mea...." The acutally did a promotion where they put this part cardboard part plastic football shaped record in like the newspaper and when you played it, if it made it through the whole song, you one a million dollars.

I am only 24, but here goes some memories for ya...
When I was a kid I still can remember the cartoon train "CHARLIE SAYS...Love my good n plenty..."
Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird telling me to keep my pot handles turned in so I wouldnt burn myself with the salding hot water.
The Amazing Discoveries dude with the bad sweaters and the over enthusiastic englishman on the first Infomercials...
ITS THE MILFORD PLA-ZA!!!
Ronald McDonald Ice skatin over to the kid who was crying and picked him up, skatin with him....
When McDonalds was about the Good Times, and great taste...
I'm a pepper, you're a pepper, hes a pepper, etc etc etc
The Freedent Gum commercial "Freedents the one that took the stick outta gum...and freedent moistens your mouth...."
(wow, I watched and remembered too much TV as a kid)
Emmanuel Lewis telling us to do if we ever found a gun...
Those classic Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints commercials..
Zack, Zack, the lego maniac...
thats all I can think of for now!
I would REALLY love a new sig pic from some creative person out there!!!!
I love you all,
*BIG JIM*

Mc Donalds ones were classic
The one where the guy drew a character eating mcnuggets and the character came to life to give him nuggets.
The one where the girl has a pioano recital and plays fur elise by beethoven and adds lyrics to it with the mc donalds menu.
I'm the saddest man in america.

ITS THE MILFORD PLA-ZA!!!
What a coincidence! I had an interview in the city last week and as I was walking along 8th avenue I seen "The Milford Plaza". Immediately the song arose in my head....The doorman was even wearing the same uniform as in those commercials years ago!

Another one that just came to mind-- National Airlines which no longer exists, used to feature a lovely stewardess ( yes they were called Stewardess in those ancient days) and after flashing a glowing smile the words were" I'm Jennifer Fly me!"

How about the Chuck Wagon Dog Food commercial where the dog chases the red and white checkered chuck wagon and it magically escapes through the cabinet. Then you added water to the dry food and it turned into "gravy."

Here goes:
"I'd like to buy the world a Coke"
Prisoners begin chanting 'Alka Seltzer, Alka Seltzer' and banging their silverware. Everyone did this at the school cafeteria one day. It was hysterical.
Farrah Fawcett started out doing Gillette Foamy commercials that were incredibly sexy. We didn't know who she was, but our nickname for her was "Creamy." You'd here someone yell "Creamy's on!" and everyone would come running to the TV.

Two ancient ones for you-1] the Noxema commercial with Brit Eklund in her prime-"Take it off, take it all off".2] Didja ever see the old GTO commercial when it first came out? It was a cartoon and in it a guy in a GTO pulls up to a red light next to a guy in another muscle car and the other guy acts like he wants to drag. They're looking at each other, revving their engines more and more, but each time the guy in the GTO revs his engine, the GTO sprouts all kind of scoops and pipes and whatnot, swelling into this massive, monstrous machine.
