actress Peg Phillips dies

ok, she's not a HUGE star, but if youre a Northern Exposure fan, youll remember her as Ruth Ann Miller, basically the old lady on that show. She died today of lung disease at age 84. The story with her is that she was an accountant who retired at age 65, and decided to take acting lessons. In 1990 she was cast in the Northern Exposure role that earned her an emmy nomination. rest in peace.
