Me and my friends were recently having one of our drunken stuper conversations and we were talking about our favorite bands. Now although I am a huge Heavy Metal and Death Metal fan, my favorite band is Nirvana. I dont know why, but I rank it higher than Metallica, Manowar, and bands that make Marylin Manson look normal...But that doesnt mean that they are better. Anyway my point is what is your favorite type of music and your favorite artist.

I'm way too diverse when it comes to music preference. Classic Rock to Motown to New Wave to Old School Punk to Hair Metal to even Disco!!! And many, many others in between.

I enjoy music. Plain and simple. It is like naming your favorite band or cereal. Right now I am leaning toward 60's/70's garage, jazz (Coltrane, Davis) and Motown. Last week I was on my girlband kick and before that I was on a serious Judas Priest kick. I vary.

i liked the grunge stuff when it was on alot. i don't listen to the radio much anymore.

sad to say i would really like the 80's long haired bands to make a comeback. some skid row, dokken and def leppard. just don't bring Warrant and Poison back with them.

I listen to a lot of different shit.

Punk rock and old school hip hop stand out the most. I listen to a ton of different variations of rock and I even got into Jimmy Eat World a lil bit.

I guess it depends on how I'm feeling at the moment. My first love is hip hop though, especially 1988-92, kinda the golden era in my view. But my music collection is pretty diverse: hip hop, jazz, funk, soul, rock, metal, techno/trance. I'm really feeling UK Garage and 2step but it hasn't really hit the USA yet (kind of a hip hop/r&b/techno mix). I guess the only thing I really don't like is country. And even then I kinda dig Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and some of the old school. <P>
