What's odd to me is that there was a few thousand people willing to pay to see this jackass & his band of merry jerkoffs. Did none of these people see his incredible performance at the MTV Whatever Awards? He was AWFUL! He couldn't hit a single note, or finish a line of one of his own songs. I'd rather go see Slash & an Axl impersonator...at least the music would dead on and the impersonator would TRY to sound like Axl, unlike Axl seems to be willing to do.

I saw GnR in 1992 with Metallica. While most would argue that even at this point in their careers GnR had began to lose something, it was still really awesome to see them. It only went completely downhill from there. They went from by far the most incredible and biggest band in the world to next to nothing. What you see now is not, nor will it ever be Guns N' Roses. Don't get me wrong, I think Buckethead is an amazing guitarist. It's just not the same chemistry as it was with Slash. Axl is way past his prime. What really kills me is that thousand of clueless idiots are paying to see what they think is Guns N' Roses.

Its so sad when old bands try to recapture their youth and popularity but turn out looking like fucking idiots. I still don't know why everyone went nuts at the VMA's. That wasn't Axl Rose. Just an older, sadder replica.

The good news is that aside from Buckethead, Tommy Stinson from the Replacements is in the band now. The bad news is that prevents a Replacements reunion tour since Axl won't let him out of his contract. But the real question is, after all the plastic surgery, is Axl going to be the next Michael Jackson? He's starting to look like Joan Rivers...

Yup when I saw Paul in NYC and LI when he recently toured supporting the excellent Mono/Stereo, he hinted that he was ready for a reunion and so was Tommy and amazingly Chris too!
