Non-Board Members using your Board Name

Recently I've had several people start to use my board name outside of the board...
Guys at work that hear me on the radio and bust my balls...

and...

My DAD!
I call him up and he says "Hey Jersey Rich!"
This is a little weird to me.
Is it happening to any of you?

My board name came out of my nickname in college. I got it because of the movie Belly--where there is a character named knowledge who they describe as to smart for his own good...but now in the real world away from college its just my real name, or more often then not im called by my last name

On my cellphone, I have various profiles like Loud, Silent, Joey, etc and I have one that says "ronfezmark." People always ask me, who is that? I tell them and I get strange looks.

I'll stick to "Joey" and when it goes off you'll hear Sean Paul's "Gimme the Light."

Other than that, they just call me Joey or Odd Job.

I got it because, shocker, I was always smiling when I was in college (some people call it a perma-grin -- usually followed by the munchies) So Smiley just stuck. Even my nephews call me Uncle Smiley. Smiledog and Smiles are acceptable spinoffs. If you see me out, feel free to use either of them. <P>
