For the record, I'd just like to say a cool song has an equally cool video.
If you haven't seen it, the opening riffs has Cornell, backlit in shadows, waiting on top of a partially-construced building while the RATM part of the band take the elevator to meet him on top of the structure.
The performance part of the video is the band jamming out, with the performance lit completely by fireworks in the background. Almost no stage lighting is used.
Simple, incredible, rocking.

ehhhh...i like it, i guess, im just happy to here morello's guitars again...but i havent seen the video and im hopin that the rest of the album is good, that one scream cornell lets out at the end of the song definitely shows promise though i just cant see the fans kicking as much as in the pit at these shows as they did in RATM shows

anything that morello does is great in my book. He brought back the solo and brought so many new sounds into the guitarist bag of tricks. I like the video it has a cool look with the fireworks and stuff.
I want to date an anorexic chick so that if we are weighed together we'll appear to be a normal couple.
I'm bored IM me at gpigking

The album is okay, mostly Cornell songs with a little Rage sound. Only 4 songs blend the 2 really well. It got me to thinking:
Question: What vocalist would you like to see front the Rage band in their style?

The Sound takes a little getting used to, hearing a RATM riff, then suddenly hearing Cornell scream is like the first time you learned Santa wasnt real, once you accept it, youll get on with life and enjoy it.
The CD is pretty good, Rage fans will appreciate the sounds, and soundgarden fans will enjoy the lyrics and cornell screaming. Fourtunatley, im a fan of both.
Songs like Burning Gasoline, I am the Highway, If you are Free and Shadow on the Sun are the opitimy of this CD. Cochise is crap compared to most of the CD.
So you hated Zach De La Rocha, well heres a way to enjoy rage without being told about Mumia Abu Jamal, or Leonard Peltier in every song.

the video was ok. i dont get why they hugged in the end. they sound good together, and that was a surprise. its good to hear cornell wail again.
