. . . like this Saturday morning cartoon called "Wildfire" that ran in the early-mid '80's.

It was about a girl who was actually a princess in a fairy-world but she was smuggled to our world to keep her safe from an evil sorceress. . . but she could get into the fairy-world by calling her magic horse, Wildfire, through a necklace she wore that magnified her natural psychic ability.

I think it was on CBS (channel 2 in NYC), but I was somewhere around the age of 6 and didn't pay attention to it.

How about the pilot episode of "The Art of Being Nick" starring Scott Valentine. It was a "Family Ties" spin-off that only lasted one episode. And for some odd reason, I saw it. I don't think anyone else did.

i was talking about this the other day and no one seems to remember this.

does anyone remember an episode of "married with children" where the viewers determined the ending. It was either a Christmas or Valentines day episode and the choices were:

A. Al told Peg he loves her
or
B. Al doesn't tell Peg he loves her.

The viewers had to call up and pick one of the two. No one remembers this and they are making me start to think I made this up. Does anyone remember this....and for those curious Al said he loved her.

Wayne Gretzky had shoes that turned into Roller blades and he had a hockey stick that keeps putting out pucks and he hits them at the enemy.

they also flew around in a car that turned into a plane or something like that.

oh and like Todd said, there was no Mark Mcguire. But there was Michael Jordan....he was the leader of the 3.

I just watched one of the greatest Jim henson movies of all time last night and everyone I ask about it doesn't know what I am talking about. Has anyone ever heard of the movie Dark Crystal? Its a great movie filled with Jim henson muppets not unlike Labrinth which of course is another great great mupet movie. Course David Bowie is what makes that movie the best. Please someone tell me I'm not the only one who knows of that movie.

I remember the Dark Crystal. Don't remember the characters in it, but I can picture them. I seem to recall that there were these beings that were split into 2 separate beings, one good, one bad. The bad guys were trying to get rid of the good ones, and the good ones were trying to get the crystal somewhere to re-integrate themselves.

This was back in the days when the Comdey Channel and HA! were competing. Alan Havey is still doing comedy I think.
I loved this dumb TV show called "Q.E.D."...came out in 1982 and died on the table.

I can't remember anything about it, but I thought, at the time, that it was the absolute best thing I'd ever seen...I was so sad when they cancelled it. I haven't met anyone who remembers it...

RIP Q.E.D.

Does anyone remember the red pills the dentist would give kids after a
visit? You were supposed to chew them after brushing and they'd fizz up to
show where the plaque was. I've mentioned these to a few people around
my age but they look at me like I'm nuts.

I remember the novelty of that wearing off really fast too. Speaking of dentists, does anyone remember the old tooth polishers that looked like a scary one armed robot?
