It was perfect. Dinner at a fine restaurant, a Broadway play, house seats, a room at The Plaza. Why the hell did this chick wear some disgusting perfume that my Grandmother used?
I was in my mid twenties. I blew almost 400 bucks for a wild time and the night was ruined. How could I kiss this chick without thinking about Grandma and her droopy breasts, lizard-like skin and her toothless mouth?
Eventually we went back to the hotel room and I faked an illness, we just crashed. I can still smell Grandma to this day.
Why did I post this memory? It's been haunting me for years. Damn it, I'm still angry.
