atlanta... gramma and what
ever uncles aren't married
this year come over. (my
parents are the only ones
who are normal in the
family LOL) in the morning
me and mom get up
around 9 to get the bird
going (shes got arthritus). i
watch the parade while she
does stuff in the kitchen...
then it begins. all of us lay
into the quiche, then chips
dips, antipasta, cheese n
crackers etc etc. then
dinner around 4:30... eat util
i can't move.. then b/c i
helped cook all day i get to
not clean up :-) then i make
a turkey sammich and pass
out around 9 or 10.

i can't wait. holidays with
my family are so norman
rockwell.

start with a Wed night drive from Jersey to LI...how I hate this drive each year. spend the morning with my family just to drive back to NJ...how I hate this drive each year. then the inlaws come over for dinner. last year i was so tired and we ate so late(10pm..underestimated the turkey size a bit) i passed out before dinner. <P> i miss the old days when I went with my family to my grandmothers and we would have a huge football game in her backyard. it was the one time a year i saw my whole family. <P> <P>

Waking up in my boyfriend's house and playing video games, wathcing tivo, or watching dvd's until 1pm-ish. Then we'll go over to his grandma and grandpa's house and sit with his WHOLE family. His mom is the oldest of like 14 kids and EVERYONE goes. We'll eat lots of the typical Thanksgiving stuff. Then we'll play the traditional Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly games all night long that I was told about.
