Seriously, being alone on the holidays is one less thign you have to worry about, one less present to buy, you wont have to stress that it'll be "too much" or not "enough" you wont have to be disappointed when your S.O. picked out something awful.

You'll have more money to spend on your family and it gives you a chance to pick up other single cuties at the mall. New years eve being single: thats a different story, having no one to kiss makes for a sad Gwen.

I have spent just about every holiday alone without anyone to by stuff up until this past year and a half... it never bothered me.. i was always the single friend that everyone had.. i just find the holidays fun no matter what.. don't think about it so much and just spoil your family... they will love you for it... :)

It does get kind of lonely for me but I am used to it after a while. I would sooner spend it alone than with someone who I don't really care for just to have someone there. I figure i am a nice enough guy that eventually someone will be there around the holidays. The best bet is meeting someone like mid-November so Thanksgiving is till spent apart but by Christmas you are humping like bunnies and Christmas you have someone there. That is what I am hoping for at least. I saved alot of money last year not having anyone to buy anything for so I helped out 2 needy kids with no parents and spoiled my friends. That felt good to do even though they thought I was nuts.

Cheers. The Mrs. I was with 2 years ago was speacial to me. There was just a calm cozy feeling through-out that winter. The one I have now is great but no comparison and it feels noticable colder this year than past ones.

for the first time in 4 years, I will be alone for the holidays and I can't say that I'm looking forward to it. The rest of my family lives on the west coast, so they're not even an option.
