People Magically Getting Lots Of Posts

I'm not gonna name any
names, but I'm noticing
people who just joined the
board a couple weeks ago,
magically ending up with
500 some-odd posts. I've
been on the board since
last June and don't even
have 400 posts yet. Now,
I'm not the most frequent
poster, but something tells
me it would be pretty
difficult to get 500 posts
within 2 weeks. People
should earn every G-Damn
post they're credited. Is
there some dirty work going
on behind the curtains? Or
am I just underestimating
people's posting powers?

I've been a member for over a year and a month now, and trust me the PAYT gives you a boast in your post count. otherwise, all you really need is to stay comfortable at your own pace. post counts do not count, its the quality of said posts

Yea, I think it's probably constant game room play. I don't really go in there, but I know that the fucking Word Associaton can gain over 3 pages of replies in a day.

That's where new people probably jack up their post count.

And for the last time everyone, just because you have over 1000 posts on your count, doesn't mean I will respect of listen to you. Content is STILL king, and yes, the best way to understand how to be funny here it to make actual thoughtful posts. As was said before, come up the hard way like we all did.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but through my '2 weeks' experience posting, one thing I've learned is that this message board has an array of posters. Those that are regulars. Those that are Long-Term, but post once a week. And then those that read along, not posting.
Mods and Administrators take out the time to make sure things run smoothly. Keeping everyone up-to-date with the latest upgrades and keeping us in check. It's the most honest staff I have come across. What would make you think some 'behind-the-scenes' shit is happening? Not very trusting of you is it?

As far as myself, Yeah, I spend much time here posting, usually the game room, responding to threads or creating some of my own. But why does it bother you so much that I'm up to 500 in less than a month? I don't even pay attention to that #.

P.S. You're not the first person to bring it up.

yea it is about quality not quantity. i try to say funny stuff and contribute goot quality but so far i think ive just gotten 1200 and something duds. i dont go inthe game room much ive probably had maybe 20 posts in there unless its with video games or something. one of these days, i will have a post that sets me apart from the rest, but until that day comes i will just have to be lurking in the shadows.

while, and they have 3,500

i love you all...but why this wasnt deleted after the accusation was made is absurd...noone jacks there posts up like they are on roids, thats just a ridiculous statement. most of the posts are game room posts. the majority of my first 100 were in there, but now i mostly post in the lounge, entertainment and wrestling forums...just post intelligently and people will respect you, if you have a post count of 1230 and you say something so so dumb your gonna get railed. if you have a count of 4 and you write the greatest post ever your gonna be told you wrote the greatest post ever and everyone will love you and carry you on their shoulders.
