do we really need another benoit-angle feud?

u just know sooner or later, these two are gonna' split up and drop the tag belts so they can build toward yet another PPV match (probably the december show) what is it nowadays, judgment day or armageddon? anyways, I'm tired of seeing these two wrestle each other on smackdown and pay per views. vince should seriously think about re-merging the rosters. they're becoming way too repetetive, and their storylines are suffering for it.

When you get a matchup like those two guys , the writers are smart to hold on to it.

Look at all the spectacular matches edge has had. You can't say hes not great in the ring.

And yes we need full time angle and benoit rivalries, they are the best in the WWE. Except one of them should win the title from Brock and then make that become the Main Event rivalry.

While we're in the discussion of Angle and Benoit i'd like to ask a question. I don't want to cover ground that i'm not qualified to answer but from what i've seen these guys are some of the best i've ever seen. Could someone who goes way back with wrestling give me an answer on what you think about that. Will they go down as all time greats at the rate they're going?

The real question is why wouldn't you want a Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle feud?

Two tremendously sound technicians in a ring that can carry a match and can sell like no ones business. Hell, how about a 60 Minute Ironman Match with these guys. I think they can pull off one close to better than the HBK-Hitman original WWE Ironman match.

PS: The Rock-HHH should have never happened. It destroyed the integrity of the 60 Minute Ironman Match. But that's just my smart mind.

Too much Benoit and Angle...YES!!! But only because I've been praying to the wrestling Gods for Angle/Lesner. Put that steroid encrusted schmuck in there with a REAL wrestler and see how quickly the next big thing becomes a tap out victim...then again Angle will lose and have to come down to the ring and for 30 minutes tell Lesner that he's the REAL NCAA champ and a hell of a sweel guy too.

For the past ten or so years (minus the year he spent injured), he's consistently been one of the best professional wrestlers in the entire world. Compare that to Shawn Michaels, who many consider to be one of the all time greats, but really only spent about 3 years as one of the best professional wrestlers in the entire world. Truly a king amongst men, Chris Benoit is. <P>
As for Angle, barring some sort of tragedy that would force him to retire in the near future, I think it's a no brainer. It's amazing that after only a few years, a case could be made that he is THE best professional wrestler in the world. And he's still improving. At the rate he's going, people may look back on Angle's career the same way people today look back on Ric Flair's. That is, unless some genius writer decides he needs to fuck a corpse, and thus ruins his career... <P>

I find the Benoit/Angle storyline very tiresom so I usually don't watch 'em. Edge's matches I'll still watch though. <P>
