I wouldn't go that far. Hell the Christians had the Crusades, the Inquisition, and all sorts of horrible history. But then again, I'm sure someone will say, "but those were Catholic." Just remember at the time, Catholics were the only Christian religion. Any group can take any words from any religion and go crazy with it. I worked a night shift last night and watched CNN from Moose's press conference until morning. What impressed me most is that with all the technology and manpower in use these past few weeks to catch these guys, as soon as they let the public know exactly what we should be looking out for, they had their guys in a matter of hours! Whoever that guy was who spotted that car in the wee hours of the morning is a hero. As much as it scares me how just a couple of nuts with a cause and a gun can destroy so many lives and paralyse us with fear, in the end it was just another citizen who brought them down. <P>

Ron Lancz is an American hero. He is the truck driver who performed his civic duty when he spotted the 1990 Caprice, called 911, and even blocked the exit of the rest stop with his truck for 15 minutes til cops arrived. He says he's not a hero, that he was just doing his job as a citizen. Maybe. But think of the lives he saved. He qualifies to receive up to $500,000 in reward money, which he says he wants to distribute amongst victims' families. I love this man.
