Radio Withdrawal

Hopefully, 'the end to Radios @ work' started and ended today!

For 2 weeks now we've been warned that soon radios, cd players or any fun gadgets would not be allowed once the BIG BOSS' sister returns (after being retired for 2 years). So today our Supervisor notified us about 'Josephine' being in the office and how the radios, head-sets, etc., should be off incase she complains to Dr. B. I immediately thought of Ron & Fez, and wondered how I was going to make it through the day w/o my talk radio & music.

Am I an obsessed fan, a slacker @ work or a faithful listener? I still had my radio tuned into WNEW from 10am-2pm, (every single rating counts), but I wasn't able to have my earpiece in.

It's bad enough we don't have internet access on our computers, which is understandable considering our company is very fast-paced and runs on deadlines.
First mobile phones - now THIS!.. soon they'll limit the # of times we visit the bathroom, and GOD Forbid I can't sneak in my girl-batch(es) @ work!

P.S. Thank God for replays! (good show guys!)

Yeah, I hate it my work schedule too! I wish the boys were on their old schedule! 7-11 PM ... they were even more crazy!

Radio Withdrawal I feel ya (so to speak). I've got one of those stupid adult jobs that doesn't allow me to listen during the day. I'm grateful for the replays but I do find myself wanting to instant feedback the show during the comedy pyramids. Then I remember its on tape. :-( And then I remember I'm really not that funny anyway.;-) <P>

You wanna get REAL bad? That's an office, and however unfair, I can understand how they might not want a bunch of radios on at once.

But I was on many NO RADIO Construction jobs! What the FUCK is that? We're in mortal danger all day, and we can't listen to some radio for the day?

The REAL kick in the balls was that I got warned a few times about it, but the Mexicans upstairs spraying the fireproof crap on the I beams got to turn up thier HORRIBLE Spanish radio all fucking day.

Put my Goddamn Claw hammer right through the boom box.

SWEATY NEWS UPDATE:::

I took a stand.. I turned on my radio and tuned into 102.7 FM at 9:59am, I sat at my desk, I put the earpiece into my ear and enjoyed the show calmly.

Both of my Supervisors passed by many times, Josephine included, and no one told me anything... And I'll do the same thing tomorrow!
