I kept thinking, ok this is an angle and yeah it is sick but what about the kids who watch and think this shit is real. I mean I got some morals here and was a tad bit bothered that they did this but I was more bothered by the fact that they are insulting our intelligence, with either this skit or this whole angle. If by some strike of fate kane and HHH do meet at Survivor Series, I bet HHH retains the title. I just can't see Kane being taken seriously. What happened to RVD having his shot? How about Booker T?

More than anything else it's sad. It is an absolute crying shame that the WWE has to stoop to these desperate levels to get some attention. I don't find it disturbing simply because it was done for shock value. If it was a legit part of the angle, like if the Undertaker had done it when he was all Satanic or something like that, then it would be a different story. Instead it's ham-handedly crowbarred into the show, just to make us gasp. I think this sounds the death knell for Vinny Mac, not solely because he went too far, but because he did it for no reason, thematically.

Maybe I am just over-reacting to the horrible state of the WWE these days but maybe this could be a omen of things to come, good things to come, I hope! I remember back in the day (early 90's) when wrestling truly did blow and then ECW pops up in Philly and changes the face of pro wrestling. So now is another lull and after just reading about the Halloween havoc Hoax again, maybe it would just be good to laugh at all the bad angles now (RAW) and praise the good ring work (SMACKDOWN!) and becasue I was a tad bit late last time (didn't get back into wrestling until the Hogan heel turn), watch something really cool evolve. Hmmm...

A pre-tape was done earlier today featuring HHH going to the cemetary where Katie Vick was buried. He exumes the casket, opens it up, takes her clothes off including her panties, then takes his clothes off and gets on top of her. This scene is shot in such a way that you only see HHH's head so there is no nudity or anything objectionable that you view, although the image it attempts to portray is something else.

The feed of the angle was just sent a few minutes ago up on satellite, presumably to the networks to warn them in case they want it edited.

I used to always defend the WWF. But this was really horrible. If a tateless skit does something to help benefit an angle, I can live with it. This was done with the sole purpose of giving Triple H more useless TV time, and possibly give him and his girlfriend something to watch while they are screwing. I think this letter best describes how I along with many other wrestling fans feel. This is a review of the show from a Pro Wrestling Torch reader- <P>
Cedric of New Orleans, La. (0.2): Best Match: Trish Stratus being on my TV. Worse Match: Raw. I gave the show two tents of a point because of Trish Status and Bischoff's goofy face. I sit here week after week shaking my head after watching Raw. I really use to love wrestling, I really did. But who can sit through an angle involving Triple H having sex with a dead woman? The grim reaper? No, because he has morals. So I changed my channel and looked at something more entertaining... a plastic plant. I tell ya, even the devil would switch the channel if he was watching this crap. Vince you, your worthless daughter, and your no talented writing crew have really done it this time. You have stooped to new lows. You have the best roster in the world yet you screw them time and time again. You give more TV time to your worthless daughter than you have given to half the guys on your roster. You have destroyed my passion for wrestling. The sad part is, I don't see an end to this crap. Wrestling fans, we want logical storylines with talented wrestlers. We want main events with people who do not have three H's in their names. But we won't get it, not as long as Vince has his hand on the company. Instead, we are stuck with Jericho buying shampoo for a dog, Booker T getting beat up in churches, and Kane raping dead women. I think I speak for everyone when I say,

I think last night was one of those moments where I was embarassed to be a wrestling fan. And I've lived through a LOT of stupid shit passed off as wrestling "entertainment".

I think even as a sick joke, it went on 10 minutes too long.

I think that's fifteen minutes of my life that I won't get back.

I wasn't offended at the sort of "shocking" nature of the skit. I was offended at how patently unfunny and pointless it was. I will no longer be watching Raw. Not because of this angle, it was just the straw that broke the camels back. Raw has been incredibly boring for weeks. I'll just watch Smackdown and see some wrestling. I swear you can throw any combo of Edge, Rey Rey, Angle, Beniot, Eddy, and Chavo into the ring and you will get a good match out of it

The problem with this angle is that it doesn't sell PPV. Wrestling is simple you make your top angle about the CHAMPIONSHIP BELT. It just further devalues importance of the championship b/c that isn't the focus. This was the exact same mistake that WCW made. After the angle last night, do you want to buy survivor series? not me. the sad part is Vince loves the angle. just my $ .02 .
