The Elimination Chamber

[RF Godfather]

RAW GM Eric Bischoff just announced that at the next PPV, Survivor Series (in MSG I believe) they will premiere something called the Elimination Chamber (to rival the Hell in the Cell).

Could it be the triple tier cage or something like a huge UFC ring caged in? What about a Firepit like in Bloodsport? Should be fun.

What do you guys see or envision? (Besides the obvious ploy to increase buyrates for their upcoming PPV.)

the elimination chamber? are you guys sure its between Triple H and someone else? because I'm getting a vibe like it will be like WCW's Wargames. 2 hell in the cell cages connected and survivor series style. I get this impression because Vince said that this year they would be bringing back the survivor series matchs itself (4 vs. 4 or 5 vs. 5). Now that its put that way it makes more sense

I think Todd is right. I can think of only one possible (cool) outcome of this: WARGAMES.

It's simply the best gimmick match ever.

Don't EVEN try and talk to me about this Hell in the Cell shit. NOTHING beats WarGames (The Match Beyond). No HITC ever competed can compare to the Horsemen vs. Dusty Rhodes & crew, or Sting & Team WCW vs. The Dangerous Alliance.

Since the WWE is all about cannibalizing old wrestling gimmicks, why not bring it back?

Imagine this lineup, 4 man teams (five work better, but let's just use 4 for now): HHH, Ric Flair (no good WarGames is complete without him!), Chris Jericho & Christian vs. Kane, RVD, Booker T & Goldust. It'd be stellar.

Alright this is getting a little ridiculous. As far as i know most of you hear at one time or still do love the WWE/WWF. They're having a tough time right now and all this stomping on isn't helping. Say all you want, but as bad as Raw gets you'll still be sitting there every Monday. You'll buy the pay per views and like them too. And a weird twist of irony here but if it does turn out to be War Games, didn't that PPV take place in November? I am really hoping the Kane angle is over with and HHH can wrestle with RVD at Survivor Series. Wargames was something else I thought of...even though, for some reason, I'm still thinking triple cage. Anyway, Wargames would be good since WWE is having difficulties selling out arenas. An extra ring & cage would take up more space...possibly allowing for a definite sell-out.

Bischoff said it's a combination of Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and his personal favorite WarGames.

So I'm guessing its Royal Rumble entrances with the WarGames setup (two rings in one cage right?), Elimination style. Sounds fun, though I'll have to watch it on tape because the Pats play Sunday Night Football on the 17th.

Sounds like a slam-dunk great match...let's see how Bischoff can screw it up. I know, maybe Jamal & Rosie can interfere but it never leads to an angle between one of them and the person(s) they screw over. Or maybe Big Poppa can make his debut, and throw RVD off the cage (you know, to give himself the heat he needs as the new guy), crippling him and ending the career of the WWE's brightest 'young' star. It's ashame, but with HHH in the match, I just don't believe there will be a clean ending, or that it is possible for him to lose.
