Ghost World!

i rented this movie last night and it was GREAT! its a coming of age dark comedy staring Thora Birch, who is now on my "top up and commers" list. she is sexy and plays the character with great wit and style. Steave Buscemi is also excellent in this movie, it's almost like the part was written for him because he fits it so perfectly. well in any case i highly suggest seeing this movie if you're and indie fan.

you can be in the business 15 years and be an up and commer, just means you havent been going anywhere the rest of the time. what movie was this by the way, i'd like to see her acting ability as a little kid.

the movie is alright

but slow as hell

Really if not for the indain dancing and the big black fried chicken guy

i would have no other memorys formt he film

i still liked it

I don't know that I would call this an "indie movie" in the traditional sense that definition exists. It was made away from the studio, but it was hardly a small budget spit and polish job.

Scarlett Johansson, the other one from Ghost World, had a starring role in another indie flick, <a href="http://us.imdb.com/Title?0116985">Manny & Lo</a>, when she was like 12. She was the best actor in the movie and it was a damn good flick. And the fact that I want to throw my man-batter on her like Multiple Miggs has no effect on my judgement.
