rrrr. I hate Starbucks...

Alright, I don't know how many of you like coffee or live in Manhattan.. But were I work all that is near is Java Joe's and STARF*CKS. Java Joe's is always bussy when I go and as far as the other...I HATE them I have had it with them!!!! The one on 47th and Broadway gets my order wrong and takes forever. Coffee is watered down. I am not really familiar with the city been here about 2 years still learning my way around. But haven't found a great coffee hangout.

Is there any place that serves Really GOOD coffee here in the City?? I need a place close to midtown and one in or close to the upper west side. If anyone knows it would be a great help. thanks guys =)

hear there is this really good place. they have stores all over the city, its called Starbucks.

hehe j/k. yeah the coffee is watered down. i get the caremel frappacinos tho, those ROCK! but everything else there either sucks or is too expensive.

I dont care man, that new Starbucks Doubleshot is amazing. It keeps you up all friggin night. The only thing is, its half the size of a regular can and I cant chug it. That shit is strong, or am i just a puss?

Theirs this great place called Central Perk, me Joey, Ross, Chandler, Rachel, Monica and Phoebe hang out there all the time.

Also their is a nice diner called Monks. Jerry, George, Cosmo and Elaine rave about it.

I like 7-11... but there aren't any that I know of in Manhattan. And as far as going to other StarF*cks... I would rather not. But I do like those frappa thingies. and the Double shot thing I will give it a try.

As for Starbucks, I'll NEVER forget that story I heard about one in Manhattan near the WTC area on 9/11. Rescue workers ran in there and asked for all the water they had to aid people, and the employees start ringing it up on the register! Greedy FUCKING PRICKS!

I was in a Starbucks for the first time earlier this year. I don't drink coffee, but I went for a walk with someone during work and decided to get a hot chocolate. I place my order, I pay for it, then I stood there, expecting to get my drink. After a moment, I saw that they actually did the drinks further down. How exactly was I supposed to know that? No signs. They don't tell you. They just expect to you to know what to do as part of the Starbucks culture. Hot chocolate sucked, haven't been back since.

I hate Starbucks Coffee as well. Its way too strong and you have to fix it yourself. Around by me, we are lucky enough to have a Dunkin on like every corner. They make it perfect!!!!

Besides that reason, I hate Starbucks even more now cause I hard to do a marketing report on Starbucks recently!!!
