Of course most people already know there is a new He-man and the Masters of the Universe Cartoon out (which I still have not seen) but has anyone seen the new toys>? They are so moronic. The old He-man toys were the shit. The new He-man looks like he has a huntchback. Toys are so going down hill.

Old He-Man was the first "Jacked" sized character toys. I'll never forget how excellent Skeletor looked at GreySkull's Throne. He-Man and Sheira sleep with battlecat...outside.

I used to own some of the He-Man action figures. They were some weird ass toys.Two or three were furry. I didnt like them one bit and there was this skunk one that actually smelled bad which I found ridculous.It was probably toxic. Then there was the battle damage He-Man figure, I didnt understand that one at all.I played with legos instead.

I like the look of the new toon alot, but I don't think it can beat the originals.
I have not seen the new toys yet but can only imagine they are horrible.
The way they make the toys now really sucks, just poor quality.

I like the look of the new figures, especially skeletor and beast-man (who should have a hunchback) The old figures were all the same, exact same body, leg and arm molds for all the male figures, just different heads...

new transformers, on the other hand, are awful...

There is no Orko and I saw this cartoon. Was kind of annoying although Skeletor is a lot more devious, not as dumb

A little inside info... They are trying or are in the mists of trying to get a studio to create a new animated movie. I have a friend that works in Mattel. I have done numerous Trade shows for them. It is projected to be done in 2003-4

But the story sounds really weak.

good thing i saw this thread i was about to post something about HE-MAN myself...the toys are looking pretty corny..I used to have HE-MAN toys- HE-MAN, SHEERA, WONDER WOMAN- i wanted to be ( her name escapes me) but the villian who was YELLOW- it was a female...HE-MAN sooo rocked... its amazing though how its coming back...i hope they dont screw this up
