saw this in the ross report. i feel bad about Awesome. Before his knees went the guy was just great.

Stasiak was just a classic example of a guy who looked great but had absolutely no charisma or talent...he woulda been big in the 80s

i agree he was misused during his brief run, but with knees as bad as his and his style it was only a matter of time..

speaking of someone who was misused, Jerry Lynn. here was a guy who never really got a shot, tore his ACL, and then got cut because they "didnt have a spot for him". the knock on him is that he cant talk on the mic well. you know who else talks on the mic bad? Rob..Van..Dam..

Stasiak being released is finally a move that everyone can agree with...good riddance to him, he was awful.

Awesome being released is a sad move, he was entertaining as long as he didn't get anywhere near a mic. I'll miss him, more for what he did in ECW, but he'll be missed nonetheless.

Yes it IS awsome that Stasiak was released..gi gi gi. They barely ever give those televised matches so why not? They were just wasting vaulable money on people that wernt even being used. They need to money to hire some goddamn new writers. ESPECIALLY RAW!

I was interested in seeing Horace, since I've heard he's improved a bit working through the indies.

Awesome, though, c'mon. I don't see how any of you can argue that the Smackdown roster, while boasting greats like Angle & Benoit, would have been hurt with the addition of Awesome. They employ Mark FUCKING Henry, the biggest waste of skin I have just about ever seen this side of Big Show, they can't keep Awesome around?

The answer why he was released probably has less to do with his health than to do with one man: Paul Heyman.

Heyman is still royally pissed at Awesome for the way he left ECW, and who's writing / running Smackdown? Paulie. Mike didn't have a chance.

I'm hoping Awesome finds another home soon....namely, the NWA. They seem to be a fitting home for WWE droppees. And in several cases (Lynn, Truth, Hall [in small doses]), that's a good thing.
