The ALL NEW PPV Game (MUST SEE) [Archive]

OK, Lets kick this game up a notch!! I've been talking to people about making this game more exciting during the "Down Time".

This is simply a way to make the game more fun, and you can choose to play along if you want.

This is the plan. After every PPV I'm going to set up matches amongst ourselves for the following month to make some extra points.

NON title matches = 5 points

IC matches = 7 points

World Title Matches = 10 points

You will win or lose those points ::TITLE MATCHES MAY CAUSE YOU TO WIN OR LOSE TITLES EVEN IF YOU HAVE MORE TOTAL POINTS::

Matches are judged simply by who scores more points in that month. (NOT TOTAL POINTS)

AND at the end of the season you will be awarded points on who has the title & who has the most TOTAL POINTS.

NOW HERE IS THE KICKER!!!

You are to role-play as wrestling characters, or be yourself, do whatever you want.

- Lay down a kick ass promo on your opponent.

- Humiliate him

- Tensions get heated...hit him with a chair when he's not looking. (WITHIN REASON...no bloody murder scenes)

- Form tag teams

- Form arch enemies

- Form crews

It's all up to you!!

Remember you don't have to role-play.

So go ahead and develop your characters. Be a badass, be a heel, be an arrogant prick, be the ultimate good guy, be yourself, pretend you're a WWE superstar, do ANYTHING you want, just make it fun.

Hey Hosp, it's just a way to add some fun. You don't have to role-play, all I'm trying to do is get some competitive action going on.

Just play the game like it's usually played but in-between down time talk some smack.

Like I said, I'm not looking for huge storylines, and plot twists.

Plus you don't even have to role-play if you don't want to.

Like if you're going up against Jon, you can do a whole "inserting my appendage in your anus " line and that's it.

Remember you don't have to role-play BUT your character wont get title shots. (Remember season points will be given to people that have more total points in the end, so you don't have to have the belt to win in the end)

OK its very simple.

I will be setting up the matches.

To win the match you must make more points then your opponent in that particular PPV.

EX:

Hosp VS JustJon

Neither of them have a title so this match is for 5 extra points.

Now, if Hosp scores 17 points, and Jon scores 15.

Hosp would win the extra 5 points. (I decided that we wont lose points if you lose the match)

another example would be:

Earth2Ron VS Jobberific

Earth2Ron has one of the World titles, which makes this a title match.

TO GET A TITLE MATCH YOU MUST BE WITHIN 10 POINTS OF THE CHAMPION.

Now, lets say Jobberific scores 27 points but Earth2Ron only scores 23 points.

Jobberific would win the match, 10 extra points, AND the title.

Now Earth2Ron may have more TOTAL points, but since he lost the match he still loses the title.

NOW in the meantime in-between PPV's what I was thinking is that you guys start talkin smack about each other.

You will know who you are facing for the coming PPV at the END of the last PPV.

You guys can simply exchange words, and get competitive

OR

you can pretend your a Wrestling Super Star and enter the ring and lay a promo in front of thousands of fans screaming your name, or hating your guts.

You can cut an interview backstage with The Coach or any of the other WWE interviewers.

Maybe you want to be a bad ass and sneak into you opponents locker room and pull a prank, or just hit him with a steel chair.

Its all up to you.

Make up catch phrases, use WWE catch phrases whatever you want, just be fun.

OR you know what, you dont have to do anything, BUT you will still be in a match with someone with a chance to score some extra points or even the title.

We can try this out and if it sucks we'll go back to the original game, no big deal.

Nobody will lose any points or miss out on getting the belt if you dont role-play a character.

the game will be played the same as always but now you have a way to make a few extra points.

You can ONLY win points with this. If you lose the match NO POINTS WILL BE TAKEN AWAY.

The role-playing is simply for added entertainment.

PanterA I might be one of the very few that actually understand this. I think its a great idea but has too many differnt options. Remember what Jeff once said "This is not a democracy". You should make some more rules , because everything is so scatterd right now. How about some bullets too? Bullets are great for laying down the rules and regulations. Just some senseless ideas from The Thorpedo.
