Just got back from CD World where I picked up the brand new-just out today Weezer EP, the lion and the witch. GREAT EP!!! This really make me want to have gone to the Japan World Cup Tour.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyway else has got it yet, I know it's the first day its out and only in certain stores but I figured I'd ask. For those of you who might have gotten it, what number did you happen to get? (If you dont know what I mean, theres a number in the top left corner of the back cover) Mine's 009782.
Also post any other questions or comments about the EP here. My recommendation is that you run out and get it NOW! **** for this all-live, 6 song EP.

I'm a fan of Weezer, and as such I think I can safely say that they're the worst live band I've ever seen.

You my friend, should think about that again or maybe just see another show. Weezer is incredible live and for any real fan of there's(not one that just buy's the CD's for one song) this new EP is pretty much a must-get. <P>

I've seen them three times, and while they SOUND great, they have the most boring stage presence this side of The Strokes. Of course, it didn't help that the last time I saw them, Tenacious D opened for them. Nobody...NOBODY can follow that.
But you go to see Weezer live and all you get are the hits sounding just like they do on the albums. They don't try to switch it up. So what's the point of a live EP? I don't need crowd noise, dammit. And play more "Pinkerton". Not just two or three songs, the whole fucking thing, you bespectecled bastard. Matt Sharpe was the one thing keeping River's insanity from taking over, and now it's too late.

I have been a Weezer fan since 1994. I have only seen them once when they opened for No Doubt at Jones Beach in 96. They were good. I have never gotten around to seeing them again. I have always wanted to.
