as long as he finishes "the dark tower" series. that's been his life work. he's weaved aspects of it into almost all of his novels. I'd hate to see him not get to finish it.

I call it. Publicity stunt.

Oh, I think he'll take a break for a year or two. During that time he'll churn out another novel (or 5, that SOB can churn out the books), and at that point, all his fans will be clamoring for it. They'll release it to big hype / press, and it'll sell out immediately. It's all good marketing strategy.

He can't quit. Anyone who has ever been serious about writing, either as an occupation or a hobby, you can't just quit. It's in the blood, it's not something you can just turn off like a light switch.

I've never read one of his books (I'm not into reading that much). I have seen almost all his movies though , and goddamn those are some good movies. I went to the library yesterday , because I saw "Hearts In Atlantis" a couple days ago but Im staring at the book write now and just cant read it. I don't think it is a publicity stunt. There arent too many storylines in the world of book writing.
