It only seems fitting that our first game of the new season comes....CONTRAVERSY!!

Well, as some of you may or may not know, Brock Lesner was DQed and lost the match, yet keeping the title. That's right people, DQ = lose. In that case, the ONLY person to bet on Taker, is now our First Undisputed Champion of the new season!! Trojan_Rabbit was the only man brave enough to bet on Taker!!

Dont worry folks nobody has really broke away in points just yet. This was a slow start but could make up for a GREAT first season. Hey, who doesnt LOVE come from behind victories!?!?

Trojan_Rabbit won it all, huh? Big up to my bestest budday!!!!

As far as the PPV goes, not bad on the whole. The matches were well done. The intensity levels were higher than usual, and that showed throughout the card. I enjoyed the Main Event thoroughly, even with the ambiguous ending. Having it break down into an uncontrolled brawl was a good way to go. Match of the night was the Benoit/Angle match, not perfect by far, but the crowd was hot and that helped. Close runners-up are RVD/HHH, the Flair screwjob makes for an interesting RAW, and I really dug the opening match. The two teams went balls out, lots of offense, high impact shit, Lance Storm got dropped on his head, it was great. The HLA bit was stoooooopid. I swear I had half a rod until Rakishi came out. Stephanie's tits are HUGE!!!
The only major complaint, besides the HLA garbage and of course the mandatory women's match, is the storylines. I have really no interest in any of the feuds going on right now. I hear Steph and Bish are writing the shows. That's cool and all, but they're having trouble getting any heat going. I just don't care.
The WWE can't seem to get it right. Either I'm into the story and the matches are a waste, or I'm bored by every interview and the matches are excellent. That being said, the quality of tonite's performances made up for my lack of interest. I give the show a B-.

I watched the PPV at Hooter's last night. It's about as close to being at the arena as you can get, without paying the ridiculous costs of going to The World in NY. Lots of chants throughout the night, mostly HLA, Bullshit with the Lesnar DQ, and Holyshit when Taker put Lesnar through the sign. <P>
I thought the Jericho match was disappointing again. I don't know why he keeps getting the 2nd spot of the night, when the crowd seems to die down. RVD carried Trips through a good match. The women's match seemed rushed with no setup, im thinking cause Molly may be hurt so they needed to get the strap on Trish to get it back on TV. HLA was just a waste of time, and everyone in the bar knew it was Rakishi as soon as he walked out. <P>

I might be wrong and have to go back to my tape of the show but the way i saw it and the way the ref said it he lost control of the match. I know Brock was beating up the ref but it seemed like he stopeed it because of no control. Anyway it was a great show and there was some great matches including that benoit vs. angle match that was spectacular. I really liked eddie and edge's match and the main event was real good this month.

I thought the pay per view was solid and Bischoff's face was buried in Rikishi's ass for an extremely long time. Am I the only one who thinks that Brock Lesner should have been disqualified instead of the match going to a no contest? I mean he DID choke the referee right before the decision was rendered.

But according to the website, it wasn't a DQ, it was a draw. And PanterA's decisions are final. He has yet to make final decision.

If they say the match was a draw then the main event will be a push and no points will be won or lose.

If they go for the Brock was DQed then the points will stay the same.

I never thought we would come into a situation like this.

SO, in this case, i'm going to...DROP THE MATCH!!!

All the lost points will be returned, and i'll start a new thread with the new scores.

BUT from now on the new rule will be (thanks to Hosp) TITLE MATCH DRAWS, the winner is the champion. NON TITLE MATCH DRAWS is a push no points will be won or lost.
