I turned on NBC at 8, and I saw Conan O'Brian! YES! I think he's great! His opening with Ozzy was GREAT! And his little jokes at the top of the show were funny too.

But then...

I forgot! I HATE like 99% of TV! So I'm not gonna watch a show about TV on TV!

Good luck Conan, but I just can't be a part of it.

Anyone else watch it?

OH SHIT! I't MALCOM AND ARLISS! RUN!!!

I totally agree. Even if you had Triumph the Insult Comic Dog host it - it would still suck ass. All it does is feature numerous self-aggrandizing Hollywood hacks who think that they represent what is good in America. Go fuck yourselves, I'm gonna watch Cartoon Network and surf Internet porn. GOD BLESS MY FREEDOMS!!!

If it's just a lull, why am I bored right out of my skull?

Me too, man. In fact I actually had it on for about 5 minutes. Conan did a very funny bit with a telestrator about the composition of the audience. It was great. He was hilarious. It was his usual brand of humor, poking fun at the people in the room and the industry in general, and their accompanying uncomfortable laughter made it perfect. Then it was Emmy business as usual, so I turned on the Sopranos.

The Ozzy bit was great and I liked the Jennifer Aniston/Gary Shandling one as well.

The rest of the monologue was a bit weak though.

And then it was Sopranos time...

Nah, "Sopranos" only. But Before and after I flipped back to the Emmies jsut to try and catch Conan. There was a bit where got Andy to read a hidden card praising Conan's performance. When Conan got pissed at Andy for being such a terrible reader, they ended up wrestling in the aisle. Sheer hilarity.

Isn't it ironic that Conan is hosting a show who has criminally ignored him for so long?

Then a "Friends" tribute came on, and I was so disturbed I went and ate a kitten sandwich.

Watching self-serving, millionaire, talentless TV talent pat each other on the back is about as appealing as staying at Oz prison for summer camp.
