The time has come, Coach. Put Vinny Testaverde on the bench. The Jets are floundering. I know it's not all Vinny's fault, but it's obvious the team isn't going to go anywhere with him at the helm. Week 1 was an aberration. Against Miami this week and against New England last week, the offense looked nothing short of anemic. I understand the offensive line is sketchy, but Chad Pennington could not do any worse than Vinny. He's old, practically immobile, and his throws, which have always been a bit risky, have been getting worse. I don't think the Jets, as a team, have any confidence with Vinny leading the offense. Pennington's been on the bench, learning the game, learning the offense, for what, 3 years now? Put him in the game, maybe he'll spark something.
