ROCCO ROCK (TEDDY PETTY) PASSES AWAY

"Teddy Petty passed away tonight of an apparent massive heart attack.

Details are still sketchy, but it has been confirmed to me that Rocco Rock passed away about an hour ago.
He wrestled against Crowbar at the Jersey City show on the first match, because Crowbar had a double shot in Elizabeth, NJ.
Teddy also had a double shot for 3PW against Gary Wolfe in his first title defense of the 3PW Heavyweight title.

Teddy just celebrated his 49th Birthday on September 1st.
Teddy is best known as being one half of the Public Enemy with Johnny Grunge.
He was so happy about getting married on October 26th.

I am saddened and shocked, and want to send condolences and deepest sympathy to Teddy's family and friends from all of us here at 1Wrestling.com

That sux. I really liked public enemy and they were one of my favorite tag teams. I'm going to miss rocco rock.

this is another Tragedy. . . a wrestler with such talent, who was misused and never got that "big shot" never will. . . This reminds me of when Brian Pillman died. . . that was a tragedy too.

When I first got into ECW in 1995, one of the first matches I saw was TPE vs Sandman & 2 Cold Scorpio at November to Remember.. When Rocco Rock went after Woman while she was dancing was one of the funniest things I had seen. Too bad TPE was buried in WCW. Rest in peace, champ.
