This astronomy site features a little game where
you try to get little moonlets to orbit the globe.
It would be better with screams and explosions
when your incompetence devastates the earth,
but it's oddly pleasing.
The trick is you have to click on the square and launch the stars into space and try to get them to orbit around the earth. The moon will pull the stars to either help or hurt your chances in getting the stars to orbit.
I was able to get 12 going in both directions until i had enough.
How many can you get?

im so awesome. this ones been orbiting for about 15 minutes now, i got it at the perfect distance and position and axis so that the pull between the earth and the moon just keeps it going.

Over an hour later and I still got 2 going. I'm not turning my computer off until they crash. I'm hooked.

Man, I'll get like 7 going at once, then one will spin waaaaaaay off into a huge orbit off-screen, and come crashing back into the planet or the moon after like a minute.

I'll give all of you credit because I had that scenario going like asteroids. Mass devastation with apocalyptic proportions. Thank God I'm a History major!

It's such a simple game, but it's mezmorizing. I got 3 going quickly in one direction, and then 2 going slowly in the other direction. It's like taking a tranquilizer if you stare at it long enough.

Oh, by the way, which one's pinky?
