Ok folks.....I know this could get closed but its very very interesting.

The new Arbitron ratings came out, and with the absence of the Opie and Anthony show, it seems that Don and Mike cant fill thier shoes.


WJFK before O+A were canned, placed 7th overall in the DC area ratings according to the ratings book realesed a day after they were canned.

Now, nearly a month later, the new book came out and WJFK has FALLEN to 18th overall. Most notebley in the AFTERNOONS.

So whenever someone tells you that O+A had no fan base in DC, just mention this, its not normal for a station to fall that awfully in such a short amount of time.

Well if this is only monthly ratings then of course they have fallen off since the O&A have been gone for a little over a month
And Don and Mike were #1 in that time slot for 18 straight months prior to them shifting to the 11-3 shift

shortly aftert O+A were gone, D+M still had thier 11-3 slot, which is supposedly to don "the only reason the station is in the top ten"

they were live from that slot throughout the crisis, then they moved to afternoons which was supposed to have immidiate effect on the stations ratings.

the point is, that look at the huge drop off. don and mike were still live from there slot, its just that all the O+A fans stopped listening and its hurt the Junkies too.

so to break it down Don and Mike still live and still with thier "best audience" O+A audience is gone, Junkies have NO lead in....
