I kinda started watching this as I finished dinner last nite and sat through the whole thing. Seems like an update of Miami Vice using Fast and the Furious as the template. First ep was ok, but I'm fairly indifferent. Anyone else see this thing?

I saw it. Not bad overall, I thought the premise was decent enough. I would have had no idea Bill Bellemy's character was NYPD unless they said it after they got busted since they never even hinted at it before then. I'd definately watch it again.

Is someone going to take a five iron to Bill Bellamy's temple? Because otherwise, I'm out...

I liked it. I'll probably watch. I liked the Cedric the Entertainer show too. It was pretty funny.

I caught about 45 minutes and liked it. Simple formula, fast cars + money + violence + hot women = more gooder. <P>

I have successfully programed my T.V to change the channel whenever Bill Bellamy appears on it. Still, I try to watch anything new. It was like watching a bad music video starring the retarded half brothers of Will Smith and Tom Cruise.
The chicks were hot and there was a little bit of violence. I'm not sure how it's going to carry on after the pilot though. They already killed the common enemy and the thing keeping the black guy in LA.
And even though I still have a crush on Tiffani Thiesen, she is TV show poison.

It was alright, I'm pretty sure I'll get sick of it after a few episodes.

<b>'Fastlane' Burns Rubber to MTV</b>
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Reruns of the new Fox action drama "Fastlane" will start airing on MTV next month, marking the first time the music cable network has acquired the immediate second run of a broadcast network series.
"Fastlane" will air at 11 p.m. on both Sunday and Monday nights starting Oct. 13. The episodes will run at least eight days after their initial Wednesday night bow on Fox.
MTV picked up "Fastlane" at bargain rates -- less than $50,000 an episode for the show's initial 13 episodes, with an option to extend if the show gets a full season order of 22. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=772&e=4&cid=854&u=/variety/20020925/tv_variety/television_fastlane_dc

I tried to watch it, but I found pushing thumbtacks into my penis was far more entertaining. Sorry.
My hatred is so pure it deserves new life.

So I tried to watch it again last nite. After about a half hour, I turned it off in favor of the Playstation (was working at the comp till then). It's very stylish, but not very compelling. I think I'd rather just watch Miami Vice reruns.

the cinematography is hot!!! however its like a guilty pleasure. the plots are thin, and the acting isnt THAT good, but the sytle and hot girls make up for it just enough that i'll keep watching it.
