Mine was, a few years ago I was looking for an apartment and I signed a contract with a rental agency. Later that week, I found another apartment on my own that I liked better closer to work. They took me for $850. I knew that it wasn't worth it to hire an attorney and fight it, so I let it go.

I bought a 500 dollar Drum Trigger module on Ebay, and I'm almost positive that the Music store in Georgia I got it form KNEW it was broken.
I think this because there's a way they got the money out of UPS for it by saying THEY broke it. It's just a theory I have. I mean, before you send something, you put the fucking thing in ans try it, right?

So I had to go through WEEKS of shit with them AND UPS to get the cash from them. And it took me A LONG TIME to save up 500 bucks!

NEVER BUY ANYTHNIG THAT BIG ON EBAY!

When I started in Washington radio, I told people to tie bandanas to their car radio antennas so female fans of mine would flash them.

20 years later 2 afternoon jocks did it in NY.

They're ripping me off Robin. (Hoo-Hoo)

thats easy...the time i was ripped off ( along with thousands of others) with CYBERREBATE.COM
This was a website in which you "bought" items with your credit card and received a full 100% rebate for the items, only youd get it 4 months later. You get free stuff..they get use of your money for 4 months..everyone wins..right????
WRONG..the bastards filed for bankrupcy and left thousands of people with a 90 million dollar defecit..money they owed their credit card company. It was a disaster and ruined some people i understand. After long fought battles with credit card companys, many people got their money back. I got my $ 1,000 back. Its still being handled in the courts. The thing is..the people running the company KNEW they didnt have the money to pay back anyone at the end but still kept taking our money. the DA is looking into fraud charges.

Man this one still irks me! A
few years back my friend
and I desperate to see the
Rangers and Devils play in
the playoffs for game 4 at
the Garden, so we figure we
would scalp! We find some
homeless looking guy
selling, looked shady from
the get go. So my friend
immedietly asks him the
price. I say to my friend
man, they look fake. He
says no there real!! I was
skeptical but I went for it!
We both dish out 75.00
each. get to the gate, the
ticket guy knows right away!
he rips them up in our
faces! i wanted to cry like a
little girl that night! I was
missing the game and
down 75 big ones! We
ended up going to a bar
down the street! At least the
rangers won but man that
was the worst! I could never
stop thinking that some
homeless scumbag got the
best of me and my 75.00
bucks! Now I think the
Garden got smart, they have
tickets that are only
scannable now. Fake
scalpers cannot beat that!

when I was in high school me and a friend went to purchase a nickel bag and we went into an apartment house...we got up a flight and a half and got stopped by a couple guys asking what we wanted... my friend gave him the 5 and the next thing i know there's 3 guys walking up the stairs and 4 coming down with sticks... all I saw was my friend booking down the stairs and I had this delayed reaction as to what was going on...needless to say It hit me pretty quick, along with a bunch of fists and sticks...I got down a flight and that was where I took the brunt of the beating... some old lady came out of her apt and said "now you leave that boy alone"
they finally let me go but I didn't know how to get out, i aksed this guy and he showed me the way but tried to pop me one on the way out, I actually evaded that one...
my friend was on his way in with a tire iron but I said "let's go"
I didn't fare too bad, no stab wounds, no broken bones, just a few bruises and scrapes and a cut on the bridge of my nose where I got kicked...
reminds me of that line in FARGO at the end...
"and all for a little bit of money"

as far as the scalping tickets...

i went to a nets game last year at the continental arena. i had a ticket, but my buddy didnt! so in that overpass thing where you go from the far lot to the arena he saw a scalper and said "i'll be right back". so he buys the ticket, doesnt even THINK to compare it with mine, and gets it ripped up by the ticket taker because its fake. so a very pissed off friend and i walk BACK over to where the scalper is, AND HE IS STILL THERE!!! i figured he'd be gone by now knowing that people buying his tickets were now relizing that they were fake. so we crept up behind him, and TOOK HIM DOWN! i've never had so much fun beating the shit outta someone. people started running up to us and these two BIG guys pulled us off of him. the guy looked really bad, since by that time he was crumpled up on the floor and we were just kicking him. the two guys were like "what the fuck are you doing?". we were like "he's selling fake tickets, he ripped us off!". so then the guys get pissed and then THEY start beating the shit outta the guy, and we took off. since i got my ticket for free in the first place, we just went back to a friends house and watched the game with a few brews. what a great nite of redemption.

I work my ass off at a restaurant and he stopped paying his staff. He promised he would pay me back, then on September 10th, he put a sign up that said "In remembrance of those lost on 9/11 we will be closed from September 10th to September 17th. He never opened again. Bastard still owes me $220.

Verizon is a rip off. I have their wireless service. They charge $1.00 for phone # information for each call. (I don't normally travel with a phone book with me where ever I go.) Then they tack on all of these other charges, so the $30.00 a month you thought you were getting, turns more into $45.00

--
Also, has anyone gotten "real tickets" from a scalper?

$1 per call to information is
industry standard. think
about how many operators
and computers they need to
support for that. AND that
extra $15 is called "TAX"
LOL. cell phones, the the
exception of alcohol and
cigarettes, are the most
heavily taxed items in
america.... and rightfully so!
no one "needed" a cell
phone until they existed.
before taht people just
used phone booths.

When I was little I ordered that Pen from Picture Pages; the one that Bill Cosby used. It lit up and made noise and all that. So I save and save and order it, and it made no noise, it didn't light up, it was just a stupid marker. Fuck Bill Cosby
