What the hell happened to John Ritter? Judging by the promos for his new show "8 ways to date my Daughter", he has fallen to a new low. The writing seems as bad as a yak in heat! Makes me long for Three's a Crowd.
Poor poor ABC.

To boast ratings I heard they are changing the name to "8 ways to bang my Daughter".
Three's Company was an ok show at the time, but if you ever catch a re-run you wonder how it stayed on the air for so long.

Three's a Crowd was the spinoff of Three's Company. After Janet got married, Terri left, and Jack moved in with his g/f over the restaurant, which was owned by his g/f's father. I think he married that girl actually.

I like John Ritter, always thought he was funny, but I feel sorry for him now. He's in his 50's and he's too old to do his trademark falling over and bumping into things bits. I didn't watch his new show-the commercials seem terrible.

John Ritter was hysterical, unfortunately, this new show just isn't cutting it. Maybe I'm being presumptious.
Maybe it just needs some guest cameos from Mr. Angelino.
Damn, I have to get out more.

How ironic to his Three's Company character he played a gay guy in Sling Blade. I just always thought that was a funny twist.

God was that show awful, but I can see why he took the role. Did anyone else notice how much John Ritter was touching and kissing his 2 teen "daughters", especially the hot one?

Up until a few years ago, there was a Three's Company episode in which Jack is lying on the bed and you can see his sack hanging out of his shorts. That's some of what I know about Jack Tripper. <P>

I just couldn't get into the show. The problem with Hollywood, I think, and I know this is a generalization but...they have a tendency to pick up on jokes that may have been good around a decade ago. Instead of being trendsetters, they wallow in repetitive programming, and rip off each other's reality shows. In other words, this show is ABC's "Married Wih CHildren"...toned down.
Just my opinion. Still, John Ritter did shine in Three's Company, and "Skin Deep"...ya
