Everyone has been talking about WWE's rating going down and the whole business doing bad. All of the crowds seem to love the days of ecw and they should. WWE should do away with Velocity and Heat and every saturday night make another brand that is like ecw. They should bring back the Hardcore belt and make it the prestigous belt on that show, all matches would be hardcore and no rules would apply. I have a few ideas for the superstars that would be on the program. Their top guy could be RVD along with guys like Tommy Dreamer, Jeff Hardy, Justin Credible, Dudleyz, and when he comes back RHYNO. I really think this would boost up WWE's ratings greatly and help them get more attention. Tommy Dreamer's and such are being wasted, they should always be in hardcore mathces.

Brilliant Idea. Hell That would mean Raven would be too "good" for the raw brand then. And I bet if this is done, The ECW brand will do better then RAW.

I'm not sure it would work. Part of the attraction of ECW was its rawness.(no pun intended). We all loved the small venues, the steel guard rails, the grainy, video camera shooting. There was an intimacy and a rapport with the fans that the WWE just couldn't reproduce. Sure they could put on hardcore rules matches all night, probably good ones, but it wouldn't be the same. It would be slick, overpackaged, and overproduced . EC-Dub was a brief, wonderful moment in wrestling history that cannot be reproduced, and certainly cannot be artificially recreated.
