This place is great. It searches thousands of indie record stores around the world, and lists everything based on price, availability and quality. Even ranks the reliability of the sellers. I've ordered at least 50 CD's through this site, and get everything within a week, in great condition, even albums coming from Europe and Asia. Hell, I found a DJ Z-Trip album that had a 1,000 album print-run for less than $15...

No, I don't work for them, and I don't get anything out of this. I've noticed some people with some decent and eccelctic music tastes here, and I know how it can be a pain finding those low-run or import albums...hope it helps someone!

I do the same with a local record store called CAFE SOUNDZ, its in Montclair New Jersey. The place is cool and has a side clothing store called Romp N' Stomp. A lot of different music there. Definately Jersey people looking for Industrial techno, Metal, should look there.

HELL YEA support local small music stores!

I support Sound Exhcange on rt. 23 in Wayne! LOTS of shit Coconuts don't get. Records, tapes, CD's, T-shirts, old tour passes, box sets, posters, and so much more.

And Music Connection off exit 62 on Rt. 80 is the money too. I think it's Elmwood Park or some shit.

I love Indie Record Stores. I stress the word Record as so many stores tossed out the vinyl format years ago. I gotta say that Double Decker Records in Allentown, PA is by far the best one I have been to. There is the most diverse selection of vinyl there and stuff from band I have never heard from. Completely obscure stuff. Collectors items are gracing my record player for cheap. Found the early Celtic Frost/Hellhammer stuff, early Venom (first three albums), first Sick of it All 7" (red vinyl too) and tons of other shit I don't feel like typing. This place is great and kind of dumpy looking but it rocks. I just moved farther away from the store but I still make it there once a week to support my habit.

When I lived in CT, I used to go to Cutler's Records and Rhymes Records in New Haven. Cutler's had a good selection of rare imports and Rhymes had a lot of bootleg stuff.

When I was in college, I'd go to The Vinyl Ink and Compact Discovery in Silver Spring, MD. Same type of stores.
